Please don't worry. If you have smudged your hand, feet or paw prints using the inkless method, then we will provide professional editing and a clean up of your prints before we begin to craft your piece. If your prints are not clear enough for us to edit then we will contact you to let you know and help rectify this before crafting. If you are using our fingerprint mould kit, we would require clear markings of the fingerprint to enable us to craft your piece.
You can choose to receive one of our print kits, which are free with every purchase of our prints products, or if you already have your own prints, you may upload them via our photo uploader which is available on all print product pages. You can also send your prints in to us either via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to Pretty Little Keepsakes, The Little Workshop, Number 25, Wigan, WN2 2PS .
Hand, feet and paw prints can be take from newborns to adults. However we would advise taking fingerprints from around the age of 12 months upwards due to development of fine markings and lines, that are more prominent on older children. Children under the age of 12 months tend not to have developed strong enough fingerprint features to enable definition for crafting of these keepsakes.
Once we have received your order, we will begin the process of crafting your piece, so it is important to ensure your order is correct beforehand. If you have made an error when ordering, please notify us as soon as possible where we will be able to advise if we can amend this or not for you.
If you find that your jewellery has tarnished, simply rub gently with a silver polishing cloth. This will remove discolouration and bring a new shine to your piece. Please be advised that plated items will tarnish over time with wear and tear. We advise following our jewellery care notes found here JEWELLERY CARE & ADVISORIES
Yes, all of our pieces come with a free guarantee for 60 days. This covers damages in transit, incorrect order fulfillment by PLK and is covered from the day you receive your order and not from the order date. Our jewellery properties are all within UK standards and are made from a variety of metals including fine silver, sterling silver, stainless steel and plated base metals such as brass and alloys. Although great care is taken when deciding to use a specific metal for our products, it may not always be possible to use hypoallergenic materials such as stainless steel to create our designs. We would advise to check each product description for details of the metals used before purchasing. Please also feel free to contact us if you would like further clarification on the metal used in a product before purchasing, as some may not be suitable if you have sensitive skin. We cannot be held responsible if an allergic reaction does occur.
